Fibroids and Mental Health
Meet La-Anna (@hopestillstands_llc) who shares her journey with fibroids over the years. Her story touches upon so many aspects of this journey from the physical pain to the mental toll (i.e. depression and suicidal thoughts) caused by fibroids. This video was created in partnership with the Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Women's Health as part of efforts to raise awareness about fibroids. Please check out more of La-Anna's story on the FDA’s #KNOWHmore blog post at the link in our bio. This video was shared at our Patient Luncheon during our 2022 EmPOWERment Experience in DC this weekend. Thank you so much for sharing your story La-Anna!
