Meet Maisha Mertune, a trailblazing registered financial representative with nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry. As the first Black partner at New York Life in Central Florida, Maisha has paved the way for others while passionately serving her clients. In 2023, she took a bold step forward by founding MaiShine Financial and Insurance, where she continues to provide exceptional financial guidance while remaining affiliated with New York Life.
With licenses in Life, Health, and annuities, as well as Series 6 and 63 securities licenses, Maisha brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. She holds an Associate in Science Business Administration degree from Columbia College, further solidifying her expertise in the field.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Maisha cherishes her role as a devoted wife to Jimy Mertune and a proud mother in a blended family of six—three boys, three girls, and a granddaughter. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she loves spending quality time with them, whether it's at the beach or exploring new destinations together.

Rose Coffy
My name is Rose Coffy. I am originally from Miami, Florida. I moved to central Florida in 2010 after graduating from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). I have a background in Social Work which has allowed me to exercise my passion of serving and educating the community regarding matters that positively impact lives overall. Currently, I am a health insurance broker with Health Plan Markets, contracting and representing several insurance carriers within the state of Florida. I spend most of my time educating individuals about their health insurance options and promoting health and wellness throughout the state. In the community, I am known as a "meaningful connector". At home, I am both a devoted wife of 20 years and a loving mother to 5 beautiful children.
Tacha Acevedo
Tacha Acevedo is a certified health coach with a Bachelor's in Health Science and a Master's in Health Care Management. With over 18 years of experience in the medical field, she has excelled in various roles, including surgical technologist, clinical pharmacy technician, medication coordinator, and medical assistant.
Her passion lies in helping women understand their own bodies and find the right balance between healthy eating and daily living. Tacha's goal is to empower women to achieve longevity and overall well-being through practical and sustainable lifestyle changes.
