Tadena Simpson
Director of Communications
Tadena Simpson is a healthcare attorney with over 13 years of wide-ranging industry experience and close to 20 years of corporate experience. After having a myomectomy in late 2023 that resulted in the removal of 40 fibroids, Tadena knew that she needed to be a part of an organization that would empower, encourage, and educate other women struggling with fibroids - that is when she found and joined The White Dress Project. Her philosophy is that no woman should feel alone when addressing their fibroids and every woman should be aware of all their options. Tadena also believes that there is more that can and should be done in the fibroid awareness space.
Tadena is a proven leader and no stranger to advocacy. She has served on several boards including Duke Black Alumni National Board and has dedicated her time to mentoring women and girls. She recently served as a Guardian in the 17th Circuit Guardian Ad Litem program, and currently serves as legal advisor to the board at her local church.
Tadena currently serves as Assistant General Counsel at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc.
Tadena holds a JD from George Mason University School of Law and BA in Mathematics from Duke University.
