Broyny Vitatoe (pronounced Bron-ee) has over 15 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. She earned a Bachelor of Education degree in Community Health from The University of Toledo and a Master of Science in Health Promotion Management from Nebraska Methodist College. Broyny also has an extensive background in fitness with certifications in Group Exercise Instruction, Personal Training, yoga, and many others. She has previously served as a Lecturer of Kinesiology at Ball State University and department Wellness Ambassador, along with holding several other roles within companies as a Corporate Wellness Professional to promote, implement and manage employee wellness programming, events, and initiatives.

As a patient advocate, Broyny continues to navigate through her journey dealing with fibroids and ovarian cysts. It was through this journey that piqued her interest in how much these health issues can negatively impact a woman’s mental and emotional wellbeing. As a result, she also became certified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Ultimately, her passion for fibroid education and advocacy was catapulted when she and her husband, Derek, shared her fibroid surgery journey via a video posted on social media that went viral. Their videos have touched and impacted so many people, solidifying the need for continued awareness, support, and transparency in women’s health issues.
